Azaad Movie Story

Azaad is a story about Govind (Aaman Devgan), a stable boy with big dreams, and his strong bond with a wild horse named Azaad. As he trains to ride the untamable horse, his journey becomes a symbol of India’s fight for freedom in the 1920s. The film beautifully connects Govind’s personal struggles with the bigger political movement, making it engaging.

Rasha Thadani impresses with her acting skills. She has the same grace, expressions, and confidence as her mother, Raveena Tandon. In some scenes, she even looks just like Raveena. Ajay Devgn, though in a short role, delivers a strong performance as a mentor. Diana Penty also plays an important role, adding depth to the story.

Abhishek Kapoor’s direction makes the film visually appealing and meaningful. He perfectly captures the feel of pre-independence India. Amit Trivedi’s music is another highlight, with songs like “Azaadi Ki Pukaar” and “Tere Saath” staying with you even after the movie ends. The background score also adds to the emotional impact of the story.

At its core, Azaad is about courage, freedom, and the bond between humans and animals. The horse, Azaad, represents both Govind’s journey and the country’s struggle against oppression. Themes of loyalty, self-belief, and resilience are well presented.

However, some parts of the film feel stretched and could have been edited better. A few unnecessary scenes slow down the pace.

Overall, Azaad is a good movie that captures the spirit of the freedom era. It is worth watching once, and it leaves you with a sense of victory and pride.

Azaad Movie Review

An interesting idea doesn’t always translate into an engaging film… Lacks an absorbing script… While the climax is terrific, it arrives too late to salvage the overall experience.

Ajay Devgan does an ordinary job as Vikram in a role which is so lacklustre that one wonders what prompted him to accept it. It also makes the viewer wonder why an actor and a star like Ajay Devgan was wasted in such a role.On the whole, Azaad is a flop show with almost nothing to excite the public.

Azaad could have been a far more captivating watch. But, for now, it looks like a half-baked story. Does it make for a big screen experience? No. Is it a slow watch? Yes. Would it upset you? No.Azaad will not blow your mind away. It is an easily forgettable film, but it won’t disappoint you. Probably a nice OTT experience if you are in a mood to watch a sweet-little-slow something

Azaad Movie Review By: Vineeta

Despite sparks of excitement, ‘Azaad’ struggles to maintain consistent tension. The film underutilizes the potential of depicting the British officers’ brutality, which could have heightened audience investment in Govind’s climactic horse-riding challenge. Director Abhishek Kapoor’s restrained approach results in a film that feels partially realized, missing its full potential. While ‘Azaad’ has moments of grandeur, it is overshadowed by an overall lack of emotional and narrative payoff. It is a grand spectacle with noble intentions but leaves a muted impression.
