Delicious In Dungeon Episode 1 Recap: “Delicious In Dungeon” is an ongoing Japanese anime series, which premiered on Netflix on January 4th, 2023. The show has only one episode available, with new episodes airing weekly. Stay tuned for updates on the release date of Episode 2.
In the first scene, a fierce dragon unleashes its wrath on a group of people. In the following sequence, the protagonist is shown unconscious while searching for his missing sister. Meanwhile, the people of the Dungeons are facing a dire financial crisis and are at a loss for how to survive. They are not only penniless but also hungry, with no means to purchase food.
A group of three friends were ecstatic to embark on an exploration of the dungeon. As they journeyed, the lead guy shared tales of monsters that lurked within. They stumbled upon a mushroom and he also spotted a gigantic scorpion-like creature. They decided to cook the mushroom and the monster for their meal. To everyone’s surprise, the lead guy claimed that the venom of the scorpion was safe to eat. Just as they were about to start cooking, another friend joined them and gave tips on how to perfectly prepare their food.
During a lesson on monster food preparation, Marciline was unexpectedly pelted with slime. The instructor, who boasted a decade of experience in the field, had just finished cooking a monster hot pot which the group eagerly began to enjoy. Despite being famished earlier, Marcille hesitated at first but eventually joined in on the feast.
During their search for Laios’s sister, Senshi – the man who first mentioned the monsters – joined the team consisting of Laios, Marcille, and Chilchuck. Senshi expressed interest in helping the group and even shared a story about dragons. Together, they ventured into a dense forest to continue their mission.
As hunger struck again, Marcille expressed her reluctance to eat scorpions. Marcille was about to cast a spell when the wild and monstrous plants abruptly entangled her, pulling her into their midst. Meanwhile, Senshi was working on preparing something to eat for the group.
