Pratik Gandhi and Yami Gautam’s Dhoom Dhaam is a refreshing love story that breaks away from typical Bollywood romances. It’s a fun wedding-themed romantic comedy with unexpected twists, turns, and even some gunfire on the wedding night, making it an exciting watch. The film is packed with genuinely funny scenes and witty dialogues.
Pratik Gandhi shines as Dr. Veer, a veterinary doctor from Ahmedabad, who agrees to an arranged marriage with Koyal Chaddha (played by Yami Gautam), a lively girl from Mumbai. Dhoom Dhaam isn’t about dreamy, unrealistic love—it’s about two completely different people who start their journey together in the most unexpected way.
The movie is full of laugh-out-loud moments. One of the most hilarious scenes is when Veer, who isn’t exactly “strong” like his name suggests, is forced to strip down to his boxers and dance to dodge gunshots. Pratik Gandhi delivers another fantastic comic performance, just like he did in Madgaon Express.
This film proves that arranged marriages can be a exciting yet fun ride. It’s a mix of two very different personalities, and that’s where the fun begins. The best part about digital platform movies is the strong focus on storytelling, and Dhoom Dhaam does just that. While the story isn’t completely unique, every character plays an important role, including Yami Gautam’s Koyal Chaddha. The scenes flow smoothly, keeping you engaged from start to finish.
Unlike Bollywood’s big-budget movies filled with unnecessary songs, dances, and extravagant locations, Dhoom Dhaam keeps it simple and crisp. It’s not a deep or serious film, and you might not watch it multiple times looking for hidden details. But if you’re looking for a lighthearted, entertaining movie, Dhoom Dhaam is a perfect choice—especially for a Valentine’s Day Watch!
Dhoom Dhaam Movie Review
Dhoom Dhaam is harmless diversion with a few stray sparks, but it isn’t as much fun as it aspires to be. But if at the same time it isn’t all unmitigatedly vacuous, much of the credit should accrue to the lead actors. Full marks to them for gamely trying to spice up a desultory ride.

A single plot that isn’t one bit overstretched and that is the beauty of crisp content on the digital platform unlike Bollywood big budget films high on unnecessary dances, songs and fancy locations. Not a serious watch and not a film that you can go back to watching again and again and look into different angles, but definitely Netflix’s Dhoom Dhaam is your perfect Valentine’s day binge!
