After their OTT debuts, Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan make their big-screen debut with Loveyapa, a rom-com that explores modern relationships in the digital age.
The film follows Gaurav (Junaid) and Baani (Khushi), a young couple from Delhi who are deeply connected through social media. Their seemingly perfect relationship faces a test when Baani’s father, Atul (Ashutosh Rana), asks them to swap phones for a day to prove their trust. What starts as a simple challenge soon unravels hidden secrets, leading to chaos in their love life. Will they overcome this hurdle, or is their romance doomed?
Director Advait Chandan cleverly highlights how Gen Z treats relationships like swiping on a dating app—quick to fall in love and just as quick to break up. The film also touches on serious issues like deepfake technology, cyberbullying, and fat shaming, adding depth to its lighthearted narrative.
Junaid and Khushi deliver sincere performances, capturing the essence of young love in the digital era. Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, and Kiku Sharda provide solid support, adding humor and emotional weight to the film.
Overall, Loveyapa is a fun, engaging entertainer with a heartfelt message, making it a perfect watch for rom-com lovers.

Review By- Ganesh Aaglave
Loveyapa is an important film for this generation. Not just does it deserve a chance on the big screen, it also deserves to be talked about. If not for anything else, then for its sheer good intention.
