Fateh – A Cybercrime Thriller with Action and Drama
Fateh, starring Sonu Sood, is an action-packed movie that explores the dark world of cybercrime. Directed by Sonu Sood himself, the film mixes action, drama, and a touch of social awareness. While it raises important issues, it struggles slightly to create a strong impact.
The story follows Fateh (Sonu Sood), a former special ops officer who now lives a peaceful life as a village supervisor in Punjab. However, his past catches up with him when a young girl from his village falls victim to a dangerous cybercrime syndicate. Determined to fight for justice, he joins hands with Khushi Sharma (Jacqueline Fernandez), an ethical hacker. Together, they take on cybercriminals, exposing their crimes and protecting innocent people.
The movie highlights the growing threat of cybercrime while delivering a mix of action, emotions, and entertainment.
Fateh Movie Review
At its core, Fateh highlights the vulnerabilities of our fast-paced digital lives. While its blood-soaked narrative may not resonate with everyone, it effectively underscores the urgency of its theme.
Review By: Ronak
Fateh is a commendable attempt to combine a social message with high-stakes action. Sonu Sood’s powerhouse performance and direction make it worth a watch. For fans of action-packed dramas with a contemporary edge, Fateh delivers enough punches to entertain and is a must-watch.
Fateh Review by: Bollywood Bubble
Overall, Fateh fails to provide us with any meaningful content throughout the film. The unnecessarily loud music, murders, and bloodshed in the film do little to raise awareness about cybercrime. The climax sequence, in particular, evoked a sense of a wannabe Animal. A story that talks about the middle class being scammed due to such loan app scams and technology keeps the real people away completely and focuses more on the violence aspect, which is quite tormenting to watch.
Review By: BollywoodLife
For fans of Sonu Sood or those looking for a light masala entertainer with a socially relevant theme, Fateh might be worth a watch. However, it’s not a film that will linger in your mind long after the credits roll.
Fateh Movie Review By: Trisha
Your tipping point depends upon how much sickening, relentless violence you can handle: clearly, the action choreographers have had a lot of fun, and you go along up until a point. After that, it all becomes an empty, exhausting blur.
