In the midst of the chaos, Sachimoto grapples with the challenge of handling the monster’s limbs, while the investigators persist in their pursuit of Myeong-ja. Chae-ok, in a crucial moment, notices a young woman and a Japanese man at Ongseong Hospital. Meanwhile, Tae-sang finds himself in a tense situation as he confronts a man selling his porcelain pot, triggering simmering tensions and raising the possibility of an impending attack by Ishikawa.
Later in the story, sleuths uncover a lead that suggests Chae-ok may have been taken to Ongseong Hospital. Their suspicions deepen as they speculate that she may be held captive in a laboratory. To prove them wrong, Tae-sang goes undercover as a sleuth and visits their friend Jun-take. Tae-sang is finally grappling with his feelings for Sachimoto and sets out to find her. However, the news of Ongseong Hospital’s closure due to a deadly disease propels him to seek out Chae-ok instead. In the end, a nurse who had previously urged him to leave hands over a note from Chae-ok, thus concluding the episode.
