The Brothers Sun Episode 1: “Pilot”
In the first episode of the show, “Pilot,” two armed guards are taken down by skilled gangster Charles while he casually makes a cake in the microwave. The bald man and his crew are then called upon to clean up the aftermath and erase any evidence from a blood-stained carpet.
Later, we discover that Charles is the son of a wealthy gangster from the Chinese Triad and has been scolded for his excessive killing. A skilled sniper shoots Charles’ father through a nearby building’s window, sending him into a coma. Charles’ father orders him to safeguard his mother and brother in Los Angeles from any potential harm.
In this episode, we learn that Bruce is part of the same bloodline as Charles but leads an ordinary life, working as a taxi driver to pay his college fees. Despite being a talented actor, he is struggling financially and asks his friend TK to borrow five thousand dollars from his mother, which TK agrees to.
